Activities
Every Month the Commuter Council sponsors a variety of activities that take place in the Commuter Lounge. Activities are a great way for commuters to meet other commuters and stay connected to campus during breaks. Activities usually take place during club hour (11am-1pm) on Thursday's. However, Commuter Council also hold many activities in the evening and in conjunction with Student Government and other campus organizations.
Thursdays @ 11am:
Socials: Food and Fun in the Commuter Lounge once a month.
Game Time: Cards, Pool, PS2, Foosball tournaments once a month for prizes.
Movie Matinee: Watch a movie and eat popcorn during break once a month.

Commuter Lock In
Every semester the Commuter Council sponsors a themed lock-in for commuters. The lock-in takes place in the Commuter Lounge complete with food, fun, and prizes. Lock-ins usually take place from 8pm until 8am. Past lock-ins included Halloween, Luau, and Mardi gras themes. Activities occur every hour to keep everyone refreshed. Prizes are given to the winners of the activity and the person who made it through the night by random drawing. Prizes from the past included a DVD player and digital camera
New York City Bus Trip
Commuter Council sponsors a bus trip to New York City each semester. For a minimal fee, travelers can enjoy a day in the city to do as they choose. Previous semesters included the option of a New York Yankees baseball game, etc. Watch for signs around campus and sign up!
The Fall NYC trip will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006. Tickets are $25
and will be on sale every Tuesday and Thursday in the Sub at the info desk!
