Parking

Parking is available for commuters in the lot behing the Henry Student Center. There are 156 spaces available for commuter, faculty, and staff use in this lot. Students who are awarded an on campus parking pass (through an application process. . . see Applications) will be allowed to park in the Henry Student Center Lot, Passan lot, Temple lot, Weckesser lot, Dennison lot, and Gutman lot.

The is a fee of $120 per semester for those students who are awarded parking in the aboved mentioned lots. Permits must be displayed on the rear view mirror.

Those students not awarded a parking pass are urged to take advantage of Wilkes University's parking in Ralston Field (accross the Market Street Bridge) and shuttle service, which transports students to and from campus between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. The Wilkes University Shuttle stops at Ralston Field, behind the Henry Student Center, and near Weckesser Hall every 15 minutes. To obtain your parking pass for Ralston Field, stop by the Public Safety Office in Bedford Hall with your Student ID and fill out a few short forms. Passes are available on a first come first serve basis. Fee is $40 per semester and holds a combined 280 spots. This permit must be displayed on your rear view mirror!

Students who do not wish to take advantage of the shuttle service may purchase a reserved parking pass for the Barnum parking lot behind the Marts Gym. Passes are $60 per month or $240 for the semester. 18 Spaces are available for use. We urge you to purchase this pass if you have extenuating circumstances and are not awarded an on-campus parking permit.

The Henry Student Center Lot, as well as other commuter lots are open to all Wilkes Students and employees after 4:30 p.m. and until 8 a.m. Cars parked in the lot between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. without a parking pass WILL BE TOWED!

G.O.L.D. Parking Watch for G.O.L.D. Parking days. On G.O.L.D. days, most parking lots, with the exception of some lots, are open to all students and faculty members in the on-campus paid parking program. For more information, contact the Public Safety office. Watch for notification of these days on the Wilkes website.
