Applications
Applications for FULL TIME COMMUTER PARKING are available near the end of each semester at the Information Desk in the Henry Student Center, the Commuter Lounge in Conyngham Hall, and at the Public Safety office located in the University Center on Main. Applications are available for incoming freshmen and transfer students at their orientation sessions.
Students who missed the deadline to submit an application will have to wait until the following semester to apply. It is very important that students watch for signs around campus and messages on the Wilkes website about the availability of applications!
Applications are evaluated by Commuter Council and the Student Affairs Office using a points system that was devised by Commuter Council. It is based on distance from campus, class rank, activities, and other educational or work related responsibilities. Fraudulent, late, or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications must be dropped off in the Public Safety Office, first floor, University Center on Main, prior to the deadline.
Applicants will be notified at least two weeks prior to the start of classes whether or not they have been awarded a parking pass. Please do not call. Application status will not be given over the phone. Passes can be picked up after notifications have been received via mail, but before the deadline indicated on the notification.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no guarantee that students who were granted permits in previous semesters will be granted permits in future semesters. The number of applicants will affect the distribution of permits each year.
