New Business

1) Constitution Changes: 1st change ˆ page 6, section 2 (election of reps). We are thinking about not allowing write-in candidates. Some feel that this may make SG too exclusive. This may also allow someone who lost a race to be appointed to an open spot instead of other people just being written in. An idea was brought up to put a restriction on this clause such as a 15 vote minimum, or making a write-in winner get signatures before they can take office. Another point was that having write-ins may be a way for other students to get their foot in the door, when they may otherwise not join SG.
2nd change ˆ pg 8 & 15,auditing procedures. This would be changed to say that SG would reserve the right to audit clubs.
3rd change ˆ pg 5, powers & responsibilities of officers. This states that class presidents must hold one entire class meeting every year. It is proposed for this clause to be removed.
2) Printer for SG Office: A new printer is needed desperately. Lindsey made a motion for $200. Kelly seconded this. Motion passed 17-0-0.
3) Freshmen/Replacement Elections: Will be held Sept. 22-23 online. Open offices include 5 sophomore rep positions, 2 junior rep positions, senior class secretary, treasurer, and 1 rep. An election meeting will be held this Friday at 12 for interested candidates.

Old Business

1) Game Room:
2) Treasurers/Presidents Meeting: There was a good turnout from the clubs. Monthly meetings will be starting next month.
3) JCC Memberships: Students who would like to use the JCC instead of the YMCA should go to the Student Affairs office.
