New Business 1) Dance Team came in for their 2nd reading. There are no auditions, so everyone who joins gets to be a part of the club. There is no limit to the number of members they will allow. The dance team will go on after the cheerleaders do their half-time program. They will be fundraising for money for their uniforms. It seems like a good idea for school spirit. Too many people joining may possibly be a problem, but it may be able to be worked around. Mick made a motion to recognize them as a club, Lindsay seconded. The motion passed 21-0-2, with the understanding that they cannot hold auditions and must be open to everyone.2) Welcome to the newest SG members! We did an icebreaker (again) to introduce everyone. 3) Homecoming Donation to the United Way: Every year we donate proceeds from Homecoming tickets to the United Way. Mudd made a motion to donate $1 for every ticket sold or a minimum of $500. Julia seconded. Motion passed 22-0-0. 4) Constitution Changes: Abhishek presented changes to the constitution. Mudd made a motion to accept the changes, and Ashley seconded. Motion passed 22-0-0. It will now be put to a vote by the entire school.
