New Business

1) Welcome New Members
2) Student Theater Tickets: SG has previously sponsored student tickets to the DDD for a discount of $2 a piece. The normal student ticket price would be $5. Al made a motion to pay $2 per student for the year, Lindsay seconded. The motion passed 28-0-0.
3) Member of the Month: Elena, Mick, and Kelly were nominated for the month of September. Mick won, congratulations!!

Old Business

1) Dance team is the newest SG recognized club.
2) Election results are on the back of this weeks agenda.
3) Constitution changes were approved and will now be in effect.
4) Homecoming donation to the United Way

Events

Homecoming Week: Sept 29th √ Oct 4th
· Wednesday √ Wilkes Olympics were cancelled due to inclement weather.
· Thursday √ The pep rally will be starting at 8pm. The cafeteria will be closed from 7:30-9:30. There will be free food at the pep rally.
· Friday √ Dinner/Dance at Genetti≠s. Shuttles will be running from 5:45 until midnight. A question was raised as to whether or not people who didn≠t buy a ticket can
· Saturday √ Athletic Events at Ralston

☼ Provost: There was a meeting on Tuesday. Concerns were brought up about a dark spot by the library and the shuttles not running on schedule.

SG Committee Reports

* Alumni: Thanks to all the groups with tables at the Homecoming tent.
*Constitution: Look for the new constitutions to come out.
*Food: There will be a meeting next week.
*Publicity: The second newsletter is out.
* Spirit: The footballs will be passed out at the game.
*T-shirt: Liz came up with a design for the t-shirts. An idea was brought up to have names on the back, similar to last year≠s shirts, and will be further discussed next week.

MSC: The first week in November is multicultural week, and MSC is looking for ideas for that week.
