New Business
1) IRHC Constitution Changes: Major changes included eliminating the position of the Parliamentarian, and only requiring 2 dorm reps instead of dorm officers. The responsibilities of the parliamentarian would be delegated among the members of Executive Board. Mudd made a motion to accept the changes, and Holly seconded. Motion passed 26-0-1.
2) Commuter Council Constitution Changes: Changes made included provisions to serve on the Compass, the treasurer reporting at each member, participating in fund raising. Also, in order to be president, one must server for one year or two consecutive semesters. Elise made a motion to accept the changes, and Jon seconded. Motion passes 27-0-1.
3) Wrap up Homecoming Discussion: The wrap up can be found on the back of this week≠s agenda. Many comments were made about the lack of advertising. There were also positive comments about spirit week. It may be possible to have next year≠s dance on a Saturday, but we are still in discussions with Genetti≠s. Other options such as the Woodlands, the Pittston Convention Center, the Hilton, and the East Mountain Inn were brought up. Concerns included cost and transportation.
