New Business
1) Book Store Proposal: The bookstore is asking for our help. Only a few teachers have handed in their requests for next year (they were due in October). If the bookstore is not sure that a teacher will be using a book next semester, then they will only give the lowest price when students are trying to sell their books back. What they are asking is for students to talk to these teachers and get them to fill out a request form. The book store is offering a 15% and 10% discounts, which will be raffled off. Remember to put your name on the forms (so you get credit) and bring them in by the next SG meeting.
2) Secret Santa: The spending limit is $10. Remember to write a riddle to go with the present so your identity can be guessed. Presents will be exchanged at the Christmas Party, which will be on Dec 3rd.
3) Hunger & Homelessness Week: As a reminder, we will be packing food at the CEO on Nov 22nd from 9-12.
4) Moving Casino Night to Fall Semester: Next year Casino Night will be moved to the fall.
5) Christmas Parade/ Kings vs Wilkes: Costumes were rented for the parade (Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Elves). Meet at the SUB at 8:30 to help decorate the truck. Make sure to wear your Wilkes apparel. Afterwards you can also help decorate for the game. Mudd made a motion to allocate $150 for food after the parade and before decorating for the game. Kelly seconded. Motion passed 28-0-0.
