New Business

1) Action Item - Food Service: Dean Allen met with a few managers of Sodexho. Students should be seeing positive changes over the next few weeks in terms of variety. SG will be putting out a survey to get the opinions of the students.
2) Roundtable Discussion (Mayor Leighton): Julia went to a roundtable discussion along with students from 5 other colleges. They talked about the downtown economy and plans for the future. The mayor said that he would like to see Wilkes-Barre turn more into a college town. They also discussed the movie theater, and the possibility of a movie theater bringing in more businesses to the downtown. Hopefully within the next month or so the mayor will be coming to Wilkes to have an open forum discussion with the students.
3) January Member of the Month: Ashley & Candice, the freshmen class, and Jenna & Candice were nominated. The freshmen class won! Congratulations!
