New Business

1) Speech and Debate Club: The club will be going to a 2 day competition, and they are requesting $1373. They have been getting funding for other tournaments through the Communications Department and have paid some fees out-of-pocket. This is a larger tournament than the club usually competes in (approximately 30 other schools competing). They will be back next week for the vote.
2) Journalism Conference Donation: The Communications Department will be holding the Fourth Annual Tom Bigler Journalism Conference on Friday, April 16th. The communications students along with guest speakers and faculty will be holding various workshops throughout the day. They are asking for $550 for t-shirts in order to help participants find the student-guides more easily. Andrew made a motion to donate $550, and Matt seconded. Motion passed 23-0-1.
3) Game Room Discussion/Decision: After seeing the article in the Beacon, members have heard other students with both positive and negative comments about the possibility of a new game room. There were concerns about secluding SG from the University, and about whether we would be spending money only to move the game room again next year. Other members thought it would be a good idea to move the meeting room. Andrew motioned to table the discussion until next week, and Matt seconded.

Old Business

1) Members of the Month for January: Congratulations Freshmen class!
2) Roundtable with the Mayor: There is a new city-wide ticketing system. They are now $10 to start, after 72 hours it is raised to $50, and they also have a new tracking system. They will be strictly enforcing the tickets.
3) Food Service Survey
